Shelly has been part of the Bluffs golf community since 1999 – back when the course only had 12 holes. A longtime Ladies League member, she served as the 18-Hole League Chairperson from 2023–2025, has represented The Bluffs with WGAKC since 2022, and stepped into the role of President in 2026. Shelly says she’s still searching for her golf superpower, though she feels strongest about her putting. Her best golf advice: have fun – it’s really about the walk and the friendships. Her dream round would be at St. Andrews (with Bandon Dunes and Pebble Beach close behind), and her hot take? Let’s just say it involves the occasional “F” word… just ask anyone she plays with.

Pam joined BWGA In 2020 and is now in her first year as VP after serving two years as Social Committee Chair and two years as Nominating Committee Chair, including this year. She became serious about golf when she joined The Bluffs, and says joining BWGA was the best decision because it improved her game and connected her to so many great friendships along the way. Pam’s favorite course is the Emerald Course at Wailea Golf Club in Maui, and her bucket list golf experience would be going to The Masters. Her goal this season is simple: consistency. Her theme song on the course? “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey. Her best advice (and she means it): keep your head down! And for anyone new to the game, Pam says to embrace the love/hate relationship – because there’s always that one shot or one hole that keeps you coming back.

Gina first joined the club in 2000, serving as the Controller before stepping back to focus on her own CPA firm in 2007. Becoming more involved by joining the Ladies League in 2015, the 9-hole league has become her perfect balance - time to unwind, golf with friends, and recharge after becoming a mom. She has contributed to the league as Treasurer since 2025 and has previously served on the Rules Committee. Gina is chasing two personal goals this year: getting her handicap down to a 25 and improving her putting. Her dream round? The Kapalua Plantation Course - because golf plus Hawaii - now we're talking! Rule of thumb for Gina is to always have fun and don't sweat the bad shots, because the next one is 'gonna be amazing!'

Jeannette moved from Minnesota to Parkville in June 2022—but she joined The Bluffs before even moving into her house. What started as an occasional round a few times a year quickly turned into a love of the game, and she’s now in her third year playing in the 9-Hole League. This year, Jeannette takes on her new role as Secretary and has already tackled the exciting project of launching BWGA's website. For Jeannette, the best part of the league has been building new friendships as a KC transplant. Her motto on the course? If you can laugh at a bad shot, you’re already winning. Her dream golf destination? Watching the Masters at Augusta National.

Andrea joined The Bluffs in spring 2021 and wasted no time diving into the ladies league – because what better way to meet new people than over a shared love (and occasional frustration) of golf? As a Kansas City transplant, she was hoping to find a community… and that is exactly what she found. Since then, she’s been all in – serving on the Hawthorn Classic committee for three years and now in her second year leading the 9-hole ladies league. Her favorite course so far? Puerto Los Cabos – because let’s be honest, snacks and cocktails every four holes is a golfer’s dream setup. On her bucket list: The Masters. Forget playing it – just walking those legendary grounds would be everything. Her advice for newbies? Soak up the friendships, enjoy the ride, and let your game come together naturally. With a little luck and a lot of practice… you’re going to crush it.

This is Erin's sixth year serving on the Executive Committee - having held roles as Secretary, VP, President for three years, and now 18-Hole Chair. She’s played in both the 18-Hole and 9-Hole League, fully embracing every opportunity to be on the course. Erin credits her golf superpower as focus and believes in the "goldfish rule" – when you have a bad shot or a bad hole, have a 10-second memory and move on. Keep an inner calm and countenance on every shot, and limit your swing thoughts to two. Her dream golf destination is Scotland or Ireland, and her hot take? People don’t remember how you played; they remember how you made them feel.

Carole has been a member of the BWGA for the past 6–7 years and currently serves as Sports Co-Chair after previously serving as Secretary and on the Social Committee. She first picked up golf nearly 25 years ago, but has been playing consistently since she joined the league. This season, Carole is focused on improving her short game, knowing that chipping and putting can make all the difference in your score. One of her favorite golf experiences was playing the beautiful courses at Kiawah, and she hopes to one day tee it up in Ireland as part of her retirement dream to travel and play courses around the world. Her advice for those new to the game: have fun, take lessons, and don’t be too hard on yourself – golf is a lifelong sport, and it takes a while to get the hang of it.

Jordan is heading into her eighth season with BWGA and the Deuce/Bluffs Golf Club. Although she grew up in Phoenix, AZ, she didn’t pick up golf until her thirties and has been hooked ever since. Some of her favorite courses include those in Maui and Kauai, along with Gozzer Ranch in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. However, her most memorable round was playing Harbour Town in Hilton Head with her husband; it was challenging and full of gators! Jordan considers putting her strongest attribute and she isn’t afraid to pull out the putter from 50 feet out! Her advice is simple: have fun—if you overthink it or get too competitive, you lose the fun in the game. Her golf theme song? “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley.
